If you were one of the children who had to raise children aka raise your siblings or cousins+ I can guarantee as an adult you probably still parenting everyone right now and one of the things that gets lost in this is what happens to the child that never gets to be a child

You have the older child who becomes the example, the eldest sets the example – is given the responsibility, middle child can feel no love and the last child can be over loved, I was the second child but made the first child

Sum people grew up and wasn’t allowed to be a son or daughter – they had to be the therapist, the blame, the reason why, the chef, the one to make all the mistakes, carry the mistakes, the second mother or the second father – take it a step further sum of these children had to figure out where the next meal was going to come from and not just for themselves but for the other children in the house – homework was the least of your worries

So you were raising siblings where you were trying to figure out who you were and you wonder why you can’t relax now – I want you to think of it this way, you never grew up – its like you skipped childhood and one of the biggest ways this shows up in people especially those who feel guilty for resting – that is a spell within itself and the word guilty is another word for conscious, I felt so guilty when she said that, the word is conscious aka Gnosis ‘knowing’ GNO + ISIS

Another is you think everyone’s problems or responsibilities becomes yours – you often see these types of people apologizing for saying no

It always seems like they attract people who they think needs saving or they go for people who they think they can save, they dream of saving sum one but in actuality they need to save themselves, no one is sent down here to save another, that is not how it works, the notion that you can save sum one comes from you

Another way this shows up is when they panic when sum one is upset with them – if you spent your whole childhood managing everybody else’s emotions [ISIS] then what are you teaching your body

You’re basically teaching your body that you have to be able to fix everything for everybody – today I can ask sum one like this, what do you like and that person would be so hesitant, they wouldn’t know what to say or answer – they won’t know what they like but can tell you everything sum one else likes, what they want and what they don’t like

Now your entire identity is shaped by, what does everyone need from me rather than what do I need to give to myself

What happens is people start labelling you as strong, that you know what to say or do – what people see has strong is you in survival mode

The child that had to become the adult usually becomes the adult that never learned how to let go and put the burden of others down – its not yours – the little child in you is waiting for you to let go of others

When it comes to healing, fu9k these people and that means, let them go, its not about people pleasing anymore, especially in this cycle, what type of character are you in this cycle, in this matrix, what have you become in this cycle – this cycle is for you to break out of that cycle

You go through your journey of healing and you have to get to that point where you give yourself permission to stop parenting everyone else aka stop listening to them – let grown people solve grown people’s problems and that includes grown ass children, adults who are children, prolific in their careers but dumb as fu9k when it comes to adult themes, even arguing like a child, maturity is child level regardless of adult age – passion does not require self-sacrifice

The best thing that you could do for yourself is stop confusing love [EM] with responsibility

You weren’t meant to spend your whole childhood raising sum one else and you don’t have to spend your whole adulthood doing it either
